BALTIMORE - MEA 5290 : 1. baltimore 2. walking with you
the first ever tori single, this is a private pressing that tori recorded in 1980. the 'record label' MEA is in fact tori's initials (myra ellen amos). baltimore is the rarest tori single in existence as there were very few copies of it made and they were never on general release. so if you are lucky enough to see this for sale, don't expect to be able to afford it.

Y KANT TORI READ - ATLANTIC 81845 : tracks as released version
tori's first album from 1988. the sales of the album were so poor that we have the strange situation where the promo is worth less than the regualr version as there are more copies of the promo circulating than the commercial release. also, of the three formats available (cd. lp, cassette), the cd is the most valuable, closely followed by the lp and the cassette is very much the cheapest.. also beware of the bootleg cd's trying to pass themselves off as the orignial.

this 3 track promotinal cd aslo features a song from atlantic label-mate, phil collins (a groovy kind of love). it has no cover (this photo is from the 7" single). of the two singles from the yktr album this is the only one available on cd.

this promo pic cd is highly sought after due to it's unique artwork and it's selection of non-album tracks. it is very rare and the jewel of many people's collections.

LITTLE EARTHQUAKES BOXSET - CARRERE/EAST WEST : tracks as commercial release
this french promo is extremely scarce, the wooden box with brass plate comes complete with the little earthquakes cd and a promotional booklet written in french. there is also an unoffical box in circulation, it has a picture of tori's face on the lid of a wooden box, it is a nice item but it shouldn't be confused with this official promotional item, and it is certainly not worth anywhere near as much.

UNDER THE PINK BOXSET - CARRERE/EAST WEST : tracks as commercial release
another french promo, this time in a perspex box. it contains the utp cd, a promo video for cornflake girl and a promotional booklet. like the little earthquakes box set, it is almost impossible to find and doesn't appear for sael very often, therefore it's hard to put an exact value on it.

UNDER THE PINK ADVANCED PROMO - ATLANTIC PRCD5397-2 : tracks as commercial release
tori didn't approve of the cover art on this advance digipak cd, so it was withdrawn and all the offending covers were destroyed. except for a small number that escaped, which makes this cd incredibly rare. a number of promo cassettes were also shipped with the same artwork and are therefore also extremely rare. to view a larger scale picture of the 'offending' cover, click here.
